History and Credentials

Harry Whitaker has been serving the piano needs of Kittitas County and Central Washington University for the past 30 years.

Trained at the prestigious North Bennet Street School in Boston, MA, Harry has built his expertise through membership in the Piano Technician's Guild and many educational visits to the Steinway factory and showroom facilities in New York City. He is a Registered Piano Technician.

In addition to utilizing the latest technology, Harry is qualified to tune by ear and make the sensitive adjustments necessary to satisfy top-level performers. His longstanding customers have included music faculty at Central Washington University, performers at the Icicle Creek Music Center in Leavenworth, WA, Bank of America Concert Venue in Wenatchee, WA and many groups at The Gorge concert venue in George, WA.  

Harry and his wife Liz moved to Ellensburg in 1981. They have lived here ever since, raising three boys and becoming an integral part of our close-knit community.
